The (SAAA) was started after three certified arborists sat down and discussed how best to convey
the message that the trees of San Antonio deserve to receive better, more responsible and more professional care. First, we
developed a plan. Now we are implementing our plan in our everyday operations.
The plan is to educate consumers
about trees whenever we are called to do tree work on their properties. We will give free consultations at neighborhood
association meetings and other groups.
We
believe that if we all work together and talk about trees more, we will have a better understanding of proper tree care, and
safety, professionalism and quality of tree care will be the result!
The (SAAA) is established to bring together arborists or entities engaged in the profession of or the support
of commercial arboriculture; to encourage sound principles of business; and to strive in every practical way to promote education
in the tree care industry when needed.

Booker Arradondo, President and Founding Member. Mr. Arradondo is an ISA Certified Arborist and Certified Oak Wilt Specialist
Gene Basler, Vice President and Founding Member. Gene is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, Certified Oak
Wilt Specialist and ISA Certified Tree Climber.
